The best part is that the second group is the one that tends to lie more about how they acquired those items.
Generally, there's two types of save edit users on MH: The ones who are somewhat/actually skilled and give themselves the means to make gear or have a max talisman for any number of reasons, and the ones who are terrible at the game and create impossible talismans or impossible armor because they want to feel powerful. It's not a true save editor per se, but it gives you a lot of options. Owning one of these isn't just limited to MonsterHunter, and you can use it for a large number of other 3DS (and N3DS) games - though it is limited to having an internet connection so you can connect to the Powersave servers.
You can't edit the save via the SD-card, but you can via a physical copy, as mentioned before with a Powersave device. Even mentioning the use of one gets people angry. As for MH4U, due to being on the 3DS, and something something encryption of save data, there is yet to be a publicly available save editor. I know my "new" 3ds has a removable micro SD card built in, could the same concept of save editing be applied? Is it already? I heard little notions here or there and that Tri ultimate had hacker issues. You had to figure it out or something) Anyways trying to not get too off topic, will the same concept be possible with the 3DS? (And even that was supposedly possible if you knew some trick to the editor, that the creator promised to remove completely if it went public.
Because everything was on my SD card I could easily pop in, edit with a nice GUI based editor anything and everything barring the most rare of monster parts. Really makes me wonder how carried they are getting by g1+ rank people.Īll that is to say, after a point with P3rd (Yes I was using a pirated English patched copy) and doing a partial let's play on a second character I got curious. In fact I've noticed a TON of people at my rank that have 0 armor skills to speak of and auto-guard on non guarding weapons. I've been doing online play and have not noticed any kind of major cheaters, or any at all. I'm not looking to cheat myself god tier 1 shot monster gear, or anything at all.
